Don’t Give Up Though It Gets Hard

I know many of us come to a point in our lives where we question whether we should keep walking this road with God or just give up. It often feels like following God makes no sense, because, why do you have to fight so hard to obtain what the bible says is already yours? The truth is many of us that grew up hearing about God, never truly got the full details of the true God of the bible. We grow up thinking that he is a genie, that anything we speak will just happen. Though that is possible, you have to also remember that scripture tells us “we wrestle not against flesh and Blood”

When the enemy sees what God is doing in you or getting ready to do, he starts to launch attacks and when you are unaware of the hidden covenants you have made with him, it makes his attacks easier.

So before you throw in the towel, know that often times its not that you’re in a season of long suffering but it's the fact that you have open doors in your life that is allowing the enemy legal access in stealing your blessings.

Mark 3:27 "No one can enter a strong man's house and plunder his goods, unless he first binds the strong man. Then indeed he may plunder his house".

That passage lets us know that in order for the enemy to be able to steal from you, he has to first bind you and that can come in many different ways, ignorance to the spiritual aspect of your life is number one. If you want to take back what the devil has stolen you first have to bind him and close all doors, so he is no longer able to plunder your house (steal your blessings).

It’s not going to be easy, it’s going to require you to be committed and focused on your target but don’t be dismayed because God is the one that goes before you. He is building you up to be a soldier for his kingdom and it’s not only for his glory; you will also reap the fruit of your labor.

It may look easier to remain in the world or go back into the world and get ahead how you may see fit but remember that is what the enemy wants because then you won’t be under God’s divine protection and he is able to regain control of your life.

Don’t give up hope, God is not a liar and remind yourself of the reason why you first decided to follow God and let that be your thesis.

Don't Focus On The Storm, Focus on the Boat

Don't focus on what's happening around you; I understand that it's a lot of chaos and you've been patiently waiting for God to work it out for you. I want you to know that he understands your situation and he sees that you're desperate for a change, but he also wants to work on you.

He replied, “You of little faith, why are you so afraid?” Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the waves, and it was completely calm. God can calm the storm in your life but wants you to have faith in him being able to do so.

Many times we say we have faith in God but deep down we are screaming "doubt", and the enemy sees that and preys on that. Similar to the book of Job, he was a righteous man but the enemy saw that he was crippled with fear of his children sinning against God.

God has not given us a spirit of fear but of Love, power, and a sound mind. So cast all your fears on God, and know that he will deliver you.

Look back on the things that you've been through, that you overcame. It's the same God working on this situation, just allow him to transform you while he transforms your life

Periodically You Need A Break From Social Media

Taking a break from social media can be beneficial for your mental health. It's easy to become overly invested in the perception of other people's lives and begin to compare them with our own.

Often, we feel disappointed in ourselves and become overwhelmed because we believe we should be further along or perhaps not doing enough.

In reality, you're doing the best you can and deserve to give yourself some credit.

Sometimes we are our own harshest critics, but the truth is that we aren't supposed to know everything at once; life is a journey of learning.

Discover what works for you and what steps you need to take to reach your desired destination. Don't let life's pressures overwhelm you by taking on more than you can handle, leading you to live a life that isn't yours.

Take your time to seek God, understand the path He has laid out for you, and follow that path.

Rest In Knowing That God Has It Under Control

There comes a moment in life when it's necessary to sit back and relax. Things might not be progressing as you envisioned, nor unfolding according to your plans, but sometimes this is a sign that God is guiding you toward Himself.

To trust in Him, to find rest in Him, especially when He has entrusted you with a task and ideas to execute. I've recently become aware of this, and although it's difficult, one must step back and allow God to work. He understands us and knows our capacities, even when we do not.

This is why the scriptures say that He will not burden us beyond what we can bear; it is not to break us but to strengthen us. You see, there are two kingdoms: the Kingdom of God and the kingdom entrusted to humanity, which is the earth.

The Bible states that the devil is a prince of this word, therefore he possesses nothing unless granted authority. Thus, when God subjects us to trials, it is to enable us to discern between the enemy's tasks and His and to understand the tactics and strategies of warfare.

So that we are not easily tossed to and fro, being able to stand up and fight; as well as being able to go out and deliver someone from what he’s delivering us from.

It’s similar to the military, but spiritually, when soldiers go through this hard training, it’s not to harm them but to toughen them up for war.

It teaches them how to fight, and also builds them mentally. God wants to build us spiritually and mentally. Because the enemy is out like a roaring lion; so, we have to be ready.

Learn To Become Acquainted With Yourself.

Sometimes, the fear of being alone leads us to depend on others, attracting and even staying with people who may be toxic for us.

This often stems from not having learned to love and understand yourself fully. It's crucial to know oneself deeply before merging lives with another. Idolizing constant companionship can make one vulnerable to narcissists who prey on such dependency.

Therefore, it's important to reconnect with oneself, to attract the right individuals into one's life, and to ensure that one's sense of self-worth is not reliant on another person.

Though, it may not be as simple as it sounds, attempt to rekindle your connection with the activities you love, evaluate yourself, and discover what you enjoy doing and what brings you joy.

It's also important to seek God during these times because he understands the struggles we face and how we feel, so let him be a confidant as you try to find yourself.

Learn To Love Yourself For Who You Are

                                   Self-Love is the best Love

In today's society, we are taught to love ourselves based on someone else's perception of who we should be. However, if we measure our self-worth by these standards, it will constantly fluctuate, leading to depression and feelings of unworthiness.

I was once a people pleaser, seeking admiration and recognition from others, particularly my family. This pursuit of approval did not bring me happiness; instead, it led to misery as I strived to meet their expectations.

My journey to self-worth and self-love began when I turned to Christ. Some may view this as a facade, but for me, it is the truth.

Through God, I understood my true self and realized that He created me to be who I am, not to feel imprisoned in my body but to be free and inspire others to seek the same freedom.

Therefore, if you find yourself constantly trying to please everyone, take a moment to reflect on whether you are genuinely happy with who you are, because your happiness is paramount, far more critical than satisfying others at the expense of your own joy. 😊

Don't Be Afraid Of Falling

Often, the barrier preventing many of us from chasing our dreams is fear. The song 'Fear Is a Liar' encapsulates how fear steals our dreams and confines us to complacency, even when we recognize we're caught in a repetitive cycle.

I want to convey that you should be bold in falling in the pursuit of your goals. Why? Because falling is simply part of the journey. You might wonder why I choose 'falling' over 'failing,' and it's because failure isn't the end; it's merely a fall.

What's required is to reassess your approach, stand up, and try once more. Remember, if those who are successful now had surrendered after a few setbacks, they wouldn't be here to inspire you with their stories.

Begin to challenge yourself to persist, regardless of the obstacles you encounter. Keep in mind that your idea benefits not only you but also those connected to you

Don't let this notion overpower you. It simply signifies that you are destined for a greater purpose; you only need to be ready to embrace it.
